Chief Executive Officer
Engineer Rasheed Al-Shubaili was appointed CEO of Dussur in 2015 following more than two decades spent in senior leadership roles in the Kingdom’s industrial sector, with a particular focus on building and delivering joint ventures and mega projects.
He began his career with SABIC in the early 1990s, holding multiple roles before being named Vice-President Engineering and Project Management. During his time with SABIC, Eng. Al-Shubaili served as a member of several internal company committees and boards and represented SABIC externally to business and governmental committees.
Eng. Al-Shubaili holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in Saudi Arabia and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in the United States.
Chief Investment Officer
Par recently joined Dussur as CIO. He is a veteran of two decades at AB Volvo where he served in various leadership roles including CFO and SVP. Most recently, Par was the EVP and the Chief Investment Officer AB Industrivarden - a Sweden-based holding company that engaged in long-term investment operations and active ownership of midsized and large-cap listed Scandinavian companies.
Dussur benefits from Par’s experience and expertise in large-scale investment transactions as well as leading key acquisitions across multiple sectors. Par holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Karlstad and a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Gothenburg, School of Business, Economics and Law.
Executive Director of Strategy & Planning
Engineer Al-Thukair joined Dussur as Executive Director of Strategy & Planning carrying with him significant experience in strategic development and project management. He began his career with Saudi Aramco’s Information Technology Organization before spending several years as a Project Engineer on Oil Production Expansion Project. Eng. Al-Thukair next took on a business development role at the company, with a particular focus on promoting the growth of local industries, before becoming a Strategy Professional within Saudi Aramco’s Accelerated Transformation Program where he developed a roadmap for a Competitive Saudi Energy Sector.
Eng. Al-Thukair holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.
