NAMI Announces Saudi Electricity Company as a New Strategic Investor

In a step that strengthens the growth of the additive manufacturing sector in Saudi Arabia and supports the localization of industrial supply chains, the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has signed an agreement to join the National Additive Manufacturing and Innovation Company (NAMI) as a new strategic investor, subscribing to a 30% stake in NAMI alongside the Saudi Arabian Industrial Investments Company (Dussur) and global 3D printing leader 3D Systems.

This partnership marks an important milestone in enhancing the Kingdom’s capabilities in additive manufacturing and localizing advanced industrial technologies. With SEC joining as a strategic shareholder, post transaction completion, NAMI will focus on developing a digital inventory for spare parts, supporting local supply chains, and advancing its manufacturing capabilities to meet the needs of the energy sector and other key industries.
