NAMI was established in partnership between Dussur and 3D Systems, with the aim of establishing a center for innovation and 3D printing, which is the first of its kind in the Kingdom. The Service Bureau will provide on demand printing services, consulting, design, reverse engineering and other post-processing services. The joint venture targets to serve the industrial, medical and defense sectors in the Kingdom, the Middle East and North Africa. The support of the Eco-System in Kingdom has paved the way for this opportunity due to Vision 2030’s pathway to the future which promotes digital transformation and innovation as part of industry 4.0. It also contributes to the Kingdom’s manufacturing agility, self-reliance, and security of supply by establishing a digital inventory for critical or discontinued parts with the ability to print them swiftly with significant lead time reduction. With the support of 3D Systems world class know-how, NAMI has developed unique engineering and design capabilities for the jobs of the future. It is worth noting that the project is expected to provide more than 340 direct jobs with a Saudization rate of up to 80% by 2030. The center is located within the industrial area of King Khalid Airport in Riyadh, to capitalize on its centralized logistical location to facilitate the flow of deliveries and meet customer needs with speed and efficiency.
